FAQs
What happens if I can’t make the live event?
I would definitely opt for the VIP package since that includes recordings of the events to play back at any time. Recordings will be available from the event within 48 hours. Please note that after parties will not be recorded.
What are the times of the classes and events?
The classes will begin at 10am EST on both days. On Saturday, the classes will end by 7pm EST and on Sunday at 4pm EST. There will be a lunch break on both days and 15 minutes at the end of each class will be dedicated to answer any class questions or you can take a small break if you need it.
Do we get any physical product for the event?
No, there won't be any physical product shipped to you. A supply list will be provided before the event if you choose to shop, but majority of things needed for the classes can be supplemented by things already in your stash.
I'm a beginner crafter, is this for me?
As far as the techniques and classes go, you'll be able to keep up. Take a look at the topics above and see if you own the supplies needed. For example, if you want to join in on the heat embossing, you'll need embossing powder and a heat tool, for example. Additionally, you can always use the classes as a reference to see if the supplies are worth buying if you don't own the supplies.
Do I have to be on camera?
During the classes, only the instructors will be on camera in order to avoid distractions. For our VIP after parties and challenges, you are welcome to join us on camera or leave your camera off if you prefer. Whatever you feel comfortable with!
What should I bring?
A supply list will be sent out on May 15th so that you're able to shop any supplies you may not currently have in your stash. Of course if you aren't sure about the supplies, you can simply watch the class and decide if the supplies are right for you.
Where is the event being hosted?
The retreat is 100% virtual and will most likely take place on Zoom (which is free for participants). If we happen to get a large amount of sign-ups, we may switch the platform but it will always remain free for you, the participant. We want to ensure the best experience for all of you.
What if I only want to participate in some of the classes?
No problem! You can come and go as you please throughout the event. The Basic package will include the 6 classes on Saturday, and the VIP will include all 9 classes, including the after-parties.
